Framed Images

All the images below have a frame around them, I think sometimes its good to try different things, especially when the subject is straightforward.

Summer Walk

Whilst on leave a couple of years ago, I checked out many new potential locations including this one. The sun shone overhead and there was no breeze, so I decided to try out a simple portrait style image of the river including the building behind. Very simple shot which actually took a few attempts to get just right.

Frozen Winter

Beautiful tones and shapes at the same location as above, when visiting in early 2019, the day was very cold and ice was everywhere. The light was soft and I used a 90mm vintage lens to grab a view looking through to a small lake.

The Long Walk

One of my regular locations has miles and miles of undulating paths, sometimes muddy, other times dry, but always green. This is one view just as my long walk begins. Its always nice to get a decent shot in early on your journey.
